Our story

About Design Kitchen

Design Kitchen began with inspiration from The Team at X.

I wanted my students to tackle the strange and impossible.

I wanted to create a learning experience that mirrored Google X’s Design Kitchen where students could be part of prototyping teams, working together to solve problems.

Every project is different.

As long as you are learning, the project is successful.

Students work in teams, using multiple disciplines, to solve real-world problems with simple prototypes.

The only way that you know if you are asking the right questions is by trying to answer them.

Our classroom is a problem-solving machine.
